La Necchi
Between the Naviglio Pavese and the future train station, La Necchi will be part of Pavia's ecosystem where businesses, universities and research synergistically operate.
In this area, the Supernova district will be built, which - with its functional mix - will be asustainable, efficient and attractive new place. It will be a district based on the needs of contemporary living, where hybrid and flexible spaces will allow improved living. The mixité urbaine, synonymous with quality of life, is ensured by residential, hospitality, retail and service functions, public spaces, urban gardens and green areas.
The masterplan was entrusted to ARUP, an integrated design company with offices worldwide committed to sustainable development.
The heart of the district will be car-free, with squares and an internal bicycle and pedestrian path placed diagonally along the entire area, which will connect with the Naviglio Pavese cycle path and the new Ciclovia VenTo.
The masterplan envisages energy-efficient buildings that meet the highest certification levels, including LEED, WELL, and WiredScore.
The new train station with the S13 line stop and the new cyclo-pedestrian underpass, serving as urban mend, will make Milano Rogoredo reachable in 18'.
