The regeneration intervention aims to redevelop the former Kodak area in Cinisello Balsamo, north of Milan. The new M5 station will be built about 500 mt from the site, along via Lincoln, and it will create a connection to Milan in a few minutes by underground.

The area regeneration includes the construction of residences and commercial functions with a restaurant/café. The intervention, in fact, consists of the redevelopment of Via Matteotti, with green areas and cyclo-pedestrian paths to and from the M5 station, the construction of a roundabout as a new gateway to the town and the creation of a new urban park open to all, to the students of the adjacent ICOM school and the future residents.

The initiative intends to enhance the public green system by transferring to the city an extensive urban park of almost 5.500 sqm, which will serve as a filter between the city and the motorway and is the first step of creating a system of connected public spaces on an urban scale.
