The regeneration of the former Corni's area provides a public park and temporary residences, just a few minutes away from the train station and 2 km away from the University.
The initiative's implementation is planned in two phases, each concerning one plot and its public works, such as a park, parking, pedestrian paths and planting many different trees.
The first phase includes the realization of the temporary residences for students and young professionals, with 366 sleeping accommodations (some at subsidised rates) and 34 rooms for short stays, retail stores and the first part of the public park, for approximately 5.300 sqm.
Public parking, bike deposit and e-bike charging stations are planned outside.
During the second phase, the area's regeneration will be completed by creating public and private functions, thus completing the park and creating a new roundabout between Via delle Suore e Via Fanti.

The building for the temporary residences is structured in two main volumes of six and seven storeys, respectively.
The new facility, which will be managed by CX - CampusX - will have study halls, a communal kitchen, a movie room, a lounge area, a laundry room, a play zone and a meeting area, as well as a panoramic rooftop.
