Supernova's Pavia Next Gen project won the masterplan promoted by FS Sistemi Urbani for the regeneration of the areas within the former railway yard of Pavia called 'Scalo Rismondo' and 'Scalo Trieste'.
The former railyard is strategically located north of Pavia, between La Necchi, the planned Pavia Nord train station, the Ospedale San Matteo healthcare campus, the University and the Naviglio.
The regeneration of the areas within the scope of Pavia's railyard will give life to a new place connected to Milano Rogoredo in 18' thanks to the new train station with the S13 line.
The functional mix includes green areas, public spaces, squares and pedestrian paths, and a public park with play areas and sports facilities.
The focus is on the new generations through the creation of a neighbourhood where they can live, study, work, play sports, cultivate their interests and meet different cultures and generations.
