Orti Nuovi: Resolution n.43 concerning the initiative has been approved

📣 Orti Nuovi, Bergamo: Resolution n.43 concerning the regeneration and renovation of the former Canossiane complex has been approved

✅ Bergamo City Council, in yesterday's session, has approved  resolution n. 43 concerning the PGT Service Plan regarding the public  provisions public services provided for the transformation of the former Canossiane area.

🌳 The initiative   prides itself on particular attention to the community: the  restoration and transfer to the city of Orti di San Tomaso, adjacent to Parco  Suardi, of about 13.000 sqm. They will extend Parco Suardi, thus creating a  green area in the heart of Bergamo of almost 26.000 sqm. A new access will  link Parco Suardi with the GAMeC thanks to a new cyclo-pedestrian path  through Orti di San Tomaso.

🎯 The initiative is part of the urban development  agreement, which will be signed by mid-June and construction is scheduled 60  days after the signing of the agreement.
The regeneration of the former Canossiane complex, intended for residential function, includes 62 apartments, from  two-room to five-room apartments, and executive space.
