In the former Canossiane 62 apartments and Orti di San Tomaso given to the city: "In spring the beginning of construction" (Corriere Della Sera, Bergamo edition)

The initiative envisages the regeneration and restoration of the former Canossiane complex intended for residential use with 62 apartments, ranging from two-room to five-room apartments, and one executive space and the transfer to the city of the Orti di San Tomaso, covering an area of over 10,000 square metres. The Orti di San Tomaso will be annexed to Parco Suardi, thus creating a true green 'oasis' in the heart of Bergamo of about 26,000 square metres.

A new access will connect the Parco Suardi with the GAMeC thanks to a new cycle-pedestrian path through the Orti di San Tomaso.
