Modena: La Corni, creating value for all

📣 Today, in Modena, near the La Corni building site under construction, we met the local community to establish a concrete participatory path for the rebirth of the Fonderie Corni Park.

🌳🎓💼 The La Corni initiative sees the creation of a new public park of over 15,000 square metres, an area equal to at least two football pitches, which will be equipped for sports, as well as residences for students and young professionals with 366 beds (some of them at special rates) and 34 rooms for short stays. The meeting included speeches by Tommaso Zugnino for Supernova, Councillor for Urban Planning Anna Maria Vandelli, and the participation of the Corni family, former students of the Corni school and former foundry workers. The focus of the meeting was a participatory workshop that gave rise to a discussion on the identity of the place and between generations for the rebirth of the area between greenery, beauty and social value under the banner of safety and inclusion and a better quality of living.
