Orti Nuovi: an unprecedented site walk

đź“Ť Orti Nuovi, Bergamo

Yesterday, our CEO Paolo Signoretti welcomed Mayor Giorgio Gori, Deputy Mayor Sergio Gandi, Councillor Stefano Zenoni, Elena Carnevali and the group of conoisseurs of unpublished places 'I Nottambuli' led by City Councillor Simone Paganoni to the site.

An unprecedented site walk to discover the historical former Canossiane's complex and Palazzo Limonta, adjacent to the Suardi Park and a few steps away from the Carrara Academy and the GAMeC.

Guided by Manuela Panzini, Senior Development Manager of Supernova, and by the architects Pippo Traversi and Massimo Curzi, the guests had the opportunity to discover the historical complex, which includes a set of buildings constructed in different eras.

It was an opportunity to get a closer look at our initiative, which envisages the recovery and regeneration, as well as the restoration, of the historic property to accommodate flats, from two- to three-room flats, with a system of courtyards and green spaces, balconies, loggias, terraces, private gardens, and an office space.

The initiative has a special focus on the community: the transfer to the city of the Orti di San Tomaso, of about 12,000 square metres, which will be annexed and connected to the Suardi park, thus creating a green lung in the heart of Bergamo of about 25,000 square metres.

After more than 20 years, the rebirth of the complex is starting: at the beginning of August we obtained the building permit, thanks to which work will begin in September.
