Rimini, GreenMarina: the regeneration of the former Enel area starts in 2025
Yesterday, in the setting of the Club Nautico, we presented the project for the regeneration of the former Enel area on Via Destra del Porto in the Marina Centro district.
The presentation was attended by Roberta Frisoni, Councillor for Urban Planning of the Municipality of Rimini, who said: "A degraded area that comes to life thanks to a project in which public and private dialogue, an urban innovation that fits well with the city's projects."
The regeneration of the area will lead to the creation of Green Marina: a new public park of about 2,000sqm and a new residential complex of 30 flats, facing Porto Canale, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and the centre.
"We firmly believe in the potential of the city of Rimini and with the regeneration of the former Enel area we want to demonstrate our utmost commitment to creating value for the community, promoting a better quality of life and a sustainable urban environment. With this intervention we intend to generate beauty. We will build, in addition to the public park with sports area and cycle/pedestrian path, 30 high quality flats, from two-room to five-room flats, flexible spaces that integrate green and outdoor areas with home environments designed to meet modern living and working needs. The resulting landscape enhances Rimini's Mediterranean character. We are aiming for the highest standards of energy efficiency, and work will begin in the first quarter of 2025 with delivery scheduled for late 2026 early 2027."
