Pavia Next Gen: technical roundtable has started
FS Sistemi Urbani, the Municipality of Pavia and Supernova at work for the redevelopment of the railway yard.
The urban regeneration project for the areas in the Pavia railway yard known as "Scalo Rismondo" and "Scalo Trieste" is entering its operational stages.
The first technical roundtable for the regeneration of the area was held today: 90,000 square metres to be given back to the city of Pavia, which will be connected to Milan thanks to the new railway station with a stop on the S13 line and which will provide the city of Pavia with residences, services and equipped green areas.
"Pavia Next Gen" is the project by Supernova with a team of internationally renowned architects that won the area's regeneration and development masterplan promoted by FS Sistemi Urbani.
FS Sistemi Urbani, the Municipality of Pavia, Supernova and the designers ARUP, Mario Cucinella Architects, Paisà, Ottolini participated in the technical roundtable. Through the technical roundtable the stages of the project development will be followed and the feasibility of the solutions verified, also in relation to the construction of the new railway station, a fundamental element for the regeneration of the area.
