La Corni: Student Housing construction on the former Fonderia Corni area begins.

The foundation stone is laid for the new Student Housing in Modena. The new residence will open in September 2025 with 366 sleeping accommodations for students and young professionals and 34 bedrooms for short stays 🎓 👨💻

The new facility by CX - Campus X will have a Gross Building Area of about 10.000 sqm. It will arise in the area of the former Fonderia Corni, just minutes from the train station and just 2 km from the Università di Modena. Finint Investments SGR, Gruppo Banca Finint's asset management company, will acquire the property through "Fondo Pitagora", a closed real estate fund dedicated to student housing investments.

The initiative is part of an essential urban regeneration intervention destined to change Modena's northern area.
The regeneration of the former Fonderia Corni area will result in a functional mix which includes, besides the new residence, a public park with sports areas of more than 14.000 sqm, retail and parking.
